3. Service Description
Camphor House provides residential living for seniors in a non-medical setting. Our current services include:
- Village Residence: Full-time residential accommodation including meals, housekeeping, laundry, and access to all activities – HK$11,800 per month.
- Village Heritage Programme: Twice-weekly cultural sessions in Tai O with light refreshments – HK$1,720 per month.
- Island Week Retreat: Seven-day residential stay including all meals and full activity access – HK$4,200 per week.
Camphor House does not provide medical, nursing, or clinical care. Services are available to residents of Hong Kong. Availability is subject to capacity and suitability assessment.
4. Admission & Eligibility
Acceptance into any Camphor House service is at the discretion of Camphor House management. We assess each enquiry individually and may request an in-person visit or additional information before confirming a placement.
Camphor House is suited to individuals who are relatively mobile and do not require specialist medical or nursing care. We reserve the right to decline or discontinue a placement if a resident's needs change beyond what our non-medical setting can safely accommodate, with reasonable notice provided wherever possible.
5. Payment Terms
All fees are quoted in Hong Kong Dollars (HKD). Payment for ongoing services is due at the beginning of each calendar month. Payment for the Island Week Retreat is due prior to commencement.
Accepted payment methods will be confirmed in writing at the time of agreement. Late payment may result in suspension of the service agreement.
Cancellation: One calendar month's written notice is required to end a Village Residence agreement. The Island Week Retreat is non-refundable within 72 hours of the scheduled start date. The Heritage Programme may be paused or cancelled with two weeks' written notice.
6. Resident Responsibilities
Residents and their authorised family representatives agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information at the time of enquiry and admission
- Inform Camphor House promptly of any relevant health changes that may affect care needs
- Respect the shared communal environment and fellow residents and staff
